Based on recent reviews, the Perkins American Food Co. has made a great turn around with a new GM named Melissa, who clearly changed the whole experience. Customers are now immediately impressed with the welcoming aura upon walking in, with prompt greetings and excellent hospitality. However, some experiences still vary. One customer had to wait to be seated because no hostess was in sight, and it took almost 10 minutes to get coffee. While the food was delivered in a timely manner, the server never came back to check, and scrambled eggs had eggshells in at least 3 bites.
On a positive note, servers named Bo and Beaux are consistently described as amazing, incredible, attentive, and very nice. They remember customers, treat them well, and make sure orders are placed correctly, even during a busy Father’s Day. The food came out quickly, was correct and delicious. The restaurant is also noted as very clean, with a new manager and shift leaders that care. Customers who had written off this Perkins strongly recommend giving it another chance.
