“It doesn’t get much better than this for a classic diner breakfast. The location is small and extremely busy, for good reason, so try to get here early. We got here around 7 am on a Sunday, and were able to get a seat right away. But when we were leaving there was a line out the door. The food here hits all the right marks for diner breakfast. I got the country fried steak and eggs, and everything was exceptional. Steak was cooked perfectly and the hash browns were extremely crispy. My wife got the corned beef hash, which was also excellent. We shared the cinnamon roll, which was massive. With how big the portion sizes are here, you’re bound to leave full. And to top it all off the prices are so cheap! All of this cost us around $30, which is unheard of for eating out anywhere near the Twin Cities.“

“Our group of 11 went in for breakfast on our one sons bday. We aren't from the area. Everything was absolutely great. From our waiter (I didn't catch his name) being so kind and welcoming, to our food that simply amazed all of us, to the souvenir mug that I got for our other son. We can't wait to come back because this place is a must!“

“Hidden gem! We are visiting and wanted a nice homey-feeling breakfast and found Hovie’s. The waitstaff were very nice and attentive. The food is GREAT! It was exactly what we were craving. They prefer you pay with cash, so make sure you take some!“

“It's not a shocking development here but the original pancake House is the best breakfast in the twin cities. All the locations are Rock solid but the one in Eden Prairie is consistently great. Pancakes, french toast all the usuals done to perfection. I'm more into eggs, bacon and hash browns and these do not disappoint. Hash browns are done to perfection. Always crispy on the outside and rich and creamy inside. If you're looking for a breakfast this place is great. No reservations but there's a wait list and even if the place is packed Services are very good and the line moves faster than you think. On top of that, there's a counter and you can count on only a short wait until you can get a seat there. Consistently good food and service is top notch if you like to go for a nice breakfast the Original Pancake House in Eden Prairie is a no-brainer.“
