The building itself is dated, it's got that feel of an old bar or an Elks club setup. If you know the description you'll know if you're into that kind of thing. No alcohol on site, it's not BYOB either. Prices are fair girls are cool staff is nice. Hard to ask for much else.”

The speed of ordering to the time our food hit the table was so fast! The atmosphere was a bit tight, but cozy, and they turned tables quickly and were busy the entire time we were there. “This is a “must do” if you’re spending any time in the Alexandria area. We originally stopped in for a drink on the way to dinner, and ended up spending the night here. The grounds are beautiful and laid out in a way that you can enjoy a quiet, peaceful table or mix in with others around picnic tables. We enjoyed a wine flight, Healthy Handful & Norwegian Haze from 22 Northmen brewery, and 3 pizzas from Stoke (spicy Italian, spicy sausage & pepperoni and the Margherita). Everything we tried we thoroughly enjoyed!”

“First off, they have nicely displayed rolled rags for paper towels in the bathroom… not only that, but incense sticks for fragrant… menu cater to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free…their sweet and sour sauce is LEGIT. I’m vegan and their fried bean sprout tofu was phenomenal. Just not spicy enough but said they could’ve made it much spicier. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. 10/10”

“Today is the start of the Common Ground Coffee and Soup House!! First soup 🍜 bowl I am trying is the Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Soup. The flavor is great! I would give the soup a 8.5 and the only change would be to use a different type of cheese. Not all cheese should be used in soups or for melting purposes… but the flavor is definitely there!! Awesome!! Second soup I am trying right now is Chicken Wild Rice Soup! OMG this is AWESOME!! The flavor is great, it has vegetables you can see and taste and that adds to the flavor! Definitely a 9.5+! Two more new ones to try but I will in a bit! Come and sample, soups are free today!! I have had three different ones before this and they were all awesome!! So happy Bill started serving soup!!”

She keep us updated on how long our food would take, brought my 10 month old a popover to eat while we waited! Kept our drinks coming and was very busy with other tables as well!! 100/10 would go back just to have her as our waitress!”

“Ok, so I hate going to a "Mexican" restaurants because I am Mexican and the food never taste Mexican, they are basically an over-priced Taco Bell but, Los Mariachis Mexican grill taste just like my Abuelita used to make! My grandma would be proud to eat here. 💯 gold stars! I never thought I would ever like a Mexican restaurant, outside of old Mexico but, they are so very authentic!”
