I’m newer to the area and was looking up restaurants to try and I saw that Cafe Thyme was going to be at a booth at the Taste of Chanhassen so I decide to give it a try and the food was great! I got the shaking beef. The combination of flavors was very good. I then decided to go to the restaurant and try more. My wife and I ordered the corn fritters, the shaking beef, and the Bloody Mary chicken cacciatore. The cacciatore was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Definitely hope they can open back up so we can try more on the menu.
Not too bad, not too great for the price. Atmosphere was good, but the poutine didn't taste seasoned or salted, most surprisingly the fries. Same for the pizza of the day. Most bizarrely for a cafe, the coffee was watery and bland as well
Excellent atmosphere and super attentive service. The meals were fresh and delightful. Will clearly recommend this spot to others. Convenient rates and large portions. Keep it up.
Excellent food, but for 5 of us on a Saturday morning, we waited an hour for our food. Not wonderful.
Delightful cafe/restaurant with a very creative menu that satisfied all the desires, eating restrictions and healthy goals for our dinner. Our server was engaging and helpful.A hidden gem in it's location. Can't wait to go back
We went here for the first time for brunch . Staff was nice and atmosphere is ok. Overall, portions are small for price and quality is so-so. Ordered vegan breakfast bowl and given it's vegan (naturally lower calorie ingredients), portion size was tiny. Wife ordered chicken sandwich. Family walked away not full. Also, a bit heavy handed with salt and sugar.
Bad communication. Called and Was told they don’t take reservations and when I showed up they said they don’t take reservations or walk ins. Not sure how you’re supposed to dine in if they don’t do either. Of course they blame Covid for the “miscommunication”Plenty of other places to go to.
wonderful hidden gem
This is a jewel! My first visit there. Great ambiance, amazing, innovative menu selection! I had the Scottish eggs Benedict with lamb sausage...so good. Very reasonably priced too. The team at Cafe Thyme also amazing! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!
Definitely is an awesome place to brunch, excellent attention and delicious food. 100% recommended.

Excellent service, very friendly staff!! Food was amazing. Nothing is over seasoned, every flavor is perfectly balanced. Great prices, for great portions.
Wonderful Sunday brunch. Highly recommend the risotto cake Benedict! Side of French toast a must as well. There was only 1 waitress and it was pretty busy but she did a good job running around to everyone.
A hidden gem. Wonderful range of unique options. Even the salad choices are unique and imaginative. Really hope they can survive the pandemic.
Cute space and amazing service! Can’t wait to try more dishes. So far: Whitefish salad amazing, short ribs yum, keto bowl very comfort food!
My wife and I are going vegetarian this month. Their selections were delicious. Our recommendations: Lemon Ricotta Beignets, Risotto cake Benedict, Vegan Breakfast Bowl.
