We tried Soya for the first time on Sunday, and the food & service were great. All day happy hour was a good value. Try the crunchy & shrimp tempura rolls they are delicious.

Low quality sushi, the staff is very sweet but inattentive! the “Sexy Japeleno” appetizer was cold and undercooked, the rice on the rolls was kind of crunchy, and the sushi actually looked blended? It was odd. We got 3 different rolls that were all supposed to be spicy! Not only were they not spicy, they all tasted the same. I was going to go to Yumi in Excelsior but they were full, Soya had loads of empty tables on a Friday night, now I know why! I hate to write bad reviews, but this is just substandard.

Ordered a few dishes to share to get a good sense of the food. They were all delicious! We had steamed Shumai for an app. The sashimi & sushi combo, Philadelphia rolls & finally green tea ice cream for dessert. Very happy with meal.

Wonderful selections and our kids’ favorite. Feel at home here, and love how the staff know what we like!Kid-friendliness: They are amazing with kids, always happy to alter ingredients as needed. Also helpful in assisting in trying new things.
Amazing food, very friendly staff, and very clean and ambient atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. I come here about once every month and I’m always surprised that they’re not very busy. I definitely recommend that anyone who likes sushi should come here.

Mediocre at best. We ordered a variety of rolls, all tasted the same and all were pretty bland. Will probably not order from here again. There are far better sushi places around. Complimentary edamame was undercooked. Disappointing.

The best sushi in the area by far. The service is good as well. We have been there many times and it is consistent too

Terrible place. Canceled order after 45mins wait when delivery driver was waiting and they claimed someone else took it.Then remake the food and check who picks up stuff.Will never order there again!

Soya Sushi & Grill is worth a visit. The food is prepared in a reasonable amount of time and the prices are also good. Presentation is attractive. Everything we had was fresh.We ordered Cream Cheese Wontons, an Avocado Salad, and a couple sushi rolls. We also had Hot Tea and a Plum wine.I really appreciate their service. Very sweet and attentive hostess. I also made some small talk with who I believe was their Taisho. The quality and attention to detail is superb. I look forward to coming back and trying even more of the menu.This is a terrific place for a date night!
