There is nothing better than going to my local subway and ordering a fresh order of Tomatoes and Mustard with a whisper of black pepper. Madi and Jaicee are phenomenal at there job…. Not sure if they are A.I robots or not either way they get the job done perfectly. Every time.

All the food is good. The blueberry pancakes are a standout, even if you are not a pancake person. As a country fried steak (with eggs, hashbrowns, and toast) afficionado, I can tell you Sportmen's does this menu item as well as it's done ANYWHERE in the USA.

Our server -- whose name I wish I could remember -- was cheerful and efficient in the extreme, despite a very heavy noon time workload.

I get to Hibbing once a year and would not even consider lunch anywhere else.”

“The hydeaway is a small bar with big personality. This bar has many domestic beers and other beverages of choice. There’s not a kitchen but they have great frozen pizzas they can make for you. The best thing about the bar are the welcoming regulars and the staff. The Hydeaway usually has great entertainment on weekends and there are four-wheeler and snowmobile trails conveniently close as well. I promise if you’ve never been here before it’s worth a stop.”

“I ordered a salad of the week for lunch. Ceasar salad. It was $9.00 with chicken included. The salad came in a very small bowl, a few strips of chicken, a few croutons and lettuce. I asked prior to picking it up if a few tomatoes and cucumbers could be added. They did not add them. A very disappointing salad. Don't order this!!!I could have gotten a 12 foot sub at subway for the same cost, all the veggies and chicken and had an excellent meal!”
