Sammy's Pizza & Restaurant is a beloved local spot in Cloquet, known for its delicious square pizzas topped with a sausage on every slice. The menu also features options like broasted chicken, pasta, chicken wings, and salads. The restaurant offers a comfortable setting with about 12 to 15 tables, making it a cozy place to enjoy a meal. Customers appreciate the friendly and prompt service, often noting that food arrives mildly quick despite sometimes being busy with take-out orders.
Specials like $5 draft pints and frozen homemade pizzas to go add to the appeal. Many diners express satisfaction with their meals, especially enjoying the hand-formed sausage and the robust sauce that complements the cheese. While some have mentioned that certain pizzas, like the pesto pizza, could use a bit more flavor, overall, the positive reviews highlight Sammy's as a top choice for pizza in the area. Whether dining in or taking out, Sammy's Pizza & Restaurant consistently impresses with its great food and welcoming atmosphere.
