River Oaks Golf Course and Event Center

The golf course is easy but long. It's very hard to lose a ball. Many duffers play off adjacent fairways because of their bad strokes. No one seems to care. The grill is fine. Burgers are good and the salads are large.

We were here for a surprise wedding anniversary party and it's a beautiful place! I didn't take any pictures but the food was really good, the staff were great! It was a beautiful party and the perfect spot for sunset pictures! There's a fire pit outside that just added to the ambiance. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful place for catered parties!

The staff promised multiple times to refund me for my round and never followed through on their promise. I have tried to call back and either they blocked my number or their phone system is down. The course itself is overpriced as well. I won't be back, I would look to golf elsewhere.

We had a company event here and they were wonderful to work with, responsive to our questions and gave us great service. We served lunch after the meeting and the food was really good! I would recommend hosting a meeting at River Oaks and will do so again. They even had our company logo on the sign out front welcoming us - very nice touch!

Extremely easy to work with. We hosted a team meeting of 80+ people, room and AV worked well for both in person and remote audiences. Adding our company colors and branding in the room and on the club sign was a nice touch. Will come back for future events.

We hosted a corporate team meeting using their indoor event space with a lunch - the staff were so friendly and easy to work with, very responsive. They customized their marquee sign for our company and the lightning in the venue to be our company colors. The space had a great speaker system and TV/tech set up so we could accommodate virtual presenters. The team loved the venue and it made for such a great event! Thank you River Oaks!

Lovely venue. Food is good. Staff is polite and efficient.

I love this course. Its great layout is good for players of all skill levels. The range is also very nice and offers a ton of positions.

This was our 3rd year attending Breakfast with Santa. Our reservation was at 11:45 am. When we arrived at the buffet we were somewhat disappointed. There was no fruit (only a few small pieces of pineapple were available) and there were only two biscuits next to the sausage gravy. In years past the buffet was plentiful. In previous years there were several Christmas decorations in the room. There were hardly any this year. Santa was a huge hit and the horse-drawn wagon ride was once again a delight.

We love River Oaks’ Santa Brunch and have been going there for a few years now with our grandkids. The food is delicious and there is plenty for seconds or thirds. Santa is always wonderful and this year they had him sitting on a bench so the whole family could get in the photo. Best of all is the horse drawn sleigh/wagon ride at the end! Thank you for a wonderful Christmas tradition I hope to share with our grandkids for years to come.

Our wedding reception at River Oaks was perfect! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout the whole process of planning our reception and they executed on the day of perfectly with no stress for me and my husband! The extra Christmas decorations they had up were the perfect addition to my decorations. The food was excellent and River Oaks did a great job of customizing our experience. I would recommend this venue to anyone planning a reception!

This place need a police to watch these reckless customers, I almost died because two cars wants to run stop sign. Yes I have a footage of the incident. I’m surely am frustrated to why this place isn’t supervised when there’s people drinking and driving!

We were absolutely thrilled with everything at our soccer banquet! You all did such an amazing job — communication was excellent, and the service was flawless. We especially loved the sign outside and the lights inside in our school colors — those thoughtful touches made it extra special. And the food was fantastic!

We had the best time on Saturday night at the River Oaks Golf Course watching Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos. They were so talented and funny. They were awesome about taking requests. The best part was having fun with the group we attended with and watching others have fun too! The food was also delicious. Great time had by all!
