“I was driving by and did a double take when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in to see what they offered because Nigerian restaurant menus tend to vary. It’s a small carryout only spot. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!! Perfection in the flavor department!I’m unsure how long they’ve been open, but they seem fairly new. They’re located in a strip mall with other small, locally owned businesses. Again, it’s carryout only; you cannot sit in and eat. (I ate in my car.) They also offer catering services.Be sure to check out this spot if you’re in the MSP area.

“Just moved to the area and was getting some essentials from the Dollar Tree a few doors down and spotted the open sign and knew I needed to go in.
Service was quick and friendly—got Cassava Leaf and Pepper Soup so far and both were “valid” as the kids say. Excited to come back and try more!“

“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“

“Vittles Catering is absolutely spectacular. From start to finish, Chelsea was so easy to work with and truly helped make our wedding day so special. We did the grazing board and pasta bar for our wedding and got so many compliments on the food, with many saying it was the best wedding food I’ve ever had (and I agree). They were punctual, professional, quick with the set up, and so helpful with both the service and cleanup of the food.Photos don’t do the grazing boards justice for just how beautiful it came together. I truly have never had better cheese in my life! It was a huge hit for our guests and everyone was able to eat and enjoy something off the board, even those with dietary restrictions. The pasta bar we did was also INCREDIBLE! We chose the vodka and pesto pasta and both were spectacular. The pesto wasn’t dry at all and beyond flavorful and the vodka pasta had the best little kick to it. The garlic bread was warm, soft and buttery and their homemade ranch dressing for the salad was out of this world good. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. “My daughter and I are acai bowl connoisseurs and have had acai bowls all over this country. We both agree that this is far and away the best we've ever had. It is the most delicious acai and the most generous amount. I always get the same thing. Classic bowl with extra peanut butter, cocoa nibs and coconut flakes added to the granola and banana. At home I add my own blueberries and strawberries. I try to limit myself to 2 or 3 a week but the cravings are powerful.“

“Did a small trial with deli Double and loved the food, value and service. They catered a meeting and everyone loved the food. Starting with the delicious assortment of nut breads, donuts and baked treats followed by super fresh fruits. The variety of generously filled sandwiches were a big hit including the requested gluten free bread on a few and a few veggie only sandwiches. Gourmet chicken salad sandwich on croissant was amazing. The coffee stayed hot all day and still tasted good. The variety tray of bars/cookies was delicious and that baby field green salad with honey balsamic dressing was a highlight for sure! “Phish Food: This flavor was born in 1997 and is named after a Vermont improvisational rock group. A portion of the royalties from the flavor goes toward environmental efforts in Vermont’s Lake Champlain Watershed, which is great since our current government leadership doesn't seem to care about the environment. The pint’s description is chocolate ice cream with gooey marshmallow swirls, caramel swirls, and fudge fish. When I first began digging through my pint I did not see much of the marshmallow swirls. After mining my way through the frozen treat, I finally found a fair amount. The chocolate ice cream is rich and is complemented nicely by a school of fudgy fish that have a flavor edging closer to dark chocolate. Chocolate lovers should be happily satisfied with this one. It’s almost like a double chocolate fudge ice cream because there’s so much chocolate ice cream & fudge fish as compared to the marshmallow and caramel. Speaking of caramel, the caramel swirls do take the flavor up a notch, but they could be more abundant. Caramel is one of my favorite flavors and the combination with the chocolate and fudge reminds me of a frozen candy bar. The marshmallow swirl has a sweet/cream-like flavor. It is not simply marshmallow flavored ice cream, but texturally it is something resembling actual marshmallows, like fluff, and I love it! I wish there was more caramel & marshmallow, but overall I’m impressed. Doughboy approved 😋
