Wow, amazing sashimi and sushi. Best sashimi in town. Clean restaurant, just not upscale by any means- a “mom and pop” feel. Will definitely eat here again!!

This used to be a different Chinese restaurant forever! I was definitely interested in this new restaurant because they have different sushi options from the same ol same ol... my man bought me here and I was pleasantly surprised. It was my first time trying sushi and it was delicious. He had raw flying fish in one of his pieces. Cool! Didn't skimp on our fried rice order either. I don't live in Duluth anymore but he said he's already been back again! Recommended to anyone who enjoys sushi and they of course have other menu options. I want to go again too!

Parking: The waiter was very friendly and tried to explain (at his best, language) and I liked how he came back with the picture of the flying fish. Above and beyond customer service. Nice.

Some of the worst Asian food I've ever had - but the best Chinese take out in Duluth. In a city where even the American Chinese food is garbage, this place is barely passable - with clearly from-frozen appetizers being the highlight of the menu. For Japanese cuisine I'd look literally anywhere else. Wildly expensive for horrible food and bad digestion.

Edit: I'm now realizing this place is the rebranded Chopsticks Inn. If anyone ate there - this is the exact same food.

One of the best Asian restaurants in town! The food is less greasy and looks like it was prepared with care. Their veg dishes have a good variety of veggies. I love this place!

Soup could have been hotter but was scratch made stock and tasty. Sushi deluxe combo delicious, as well as the vegetable stir fry.

Fantastic!
I used to go to this place when I was a kid, back when it first opened as Chopsticks Inn. It. Has. Changed.
The dining room decor has been brightened up significantly, and the service was friendly and FAST. We got there about an hour before closing, and we saw them taking phone orders up until about 5 minutes before close. We ordered the shumai (delicious), sweet & sour chicken combo dinner (the sauce was thick and dark, not watery and lame), Crunch Roll (half of a star marked down because the shrimp tempura in the center was not heated before being put in the roll but otherwise lovely), and House Special Fried Rice (half a star knocked down because the chicken was small pieces and mushy). In general, it was delicious, quickly served by friendly people, and a surprisingly great experience on a Monday, no less! I plan to return often, and strongly recommend it to you as well.

Now if I could just get a Chinese restaurant up here to make Xiao Long Bao, I would be the happiest woman in Duluth.

Love this place! Can always count on them for the best Asian food in town, and not to mention the best prices. Even on Christmas night, they managed to keep up the quality and service we have come to expect.

Food was good but not hot enough. Prices reasonable. The disturbing thing about the atmosphere was the man & woman in the kitchen that were obviously in a heated argument yelling at each other back and forth in Cantonese (?). We were there celebrating our anniversary when other restaurants were too crowded. We liked the initial quiet and plenty of space, then all hell broke out in the kitchen with the yelling! Very bad atmosphere for the customers that were dining in!!
The server was polite and excellent, however. Wevhad a nice conversation with him. I'm hoping the arguing going on in the kitchen was a rare off night. We do plan to go again and give this place a chance.
Someone needs to tell them not to yell and scream at each other in a negative voice in the kitchen. All the customers can here this. It's a small space.

We were the ONLY customers in the place and they still managed to get our order wrong... causing us to have to wait longer for the correct order..
We were looking for a quick place to get lunch, not a place that makes us wait 30 mins for the wrong order.
