Our bartender Alec was very welcoming and entertaining. Drinks were perfect. We had bacon cheese curds with chili Aoli and it was full of great flavor. We will be back.

Great beers, quality apps available as well. Recommend trying the pretzel with cheese sauce. The beer flight also has seven beers, so you get to try a lot of things.

Stopped in for a beer. Two fellow UMD grads working there. Had a great time. Already had to Coney Islands at the only decent Coney Island place in town. Anyway...the ambiance is wonderful at The Barrel Room.

A cozy bar that is quiet on Sunday evenings. Friendly staff and a nice selection of beer/cider. That atmosphere is great. Comfortable chairs/couch make a great spot to drink a beer and read a book. Exactly what I was looking for.

We stopped in to pick up pizzas to take back up to our rooms. I had an NA beer, Two Roots. Great! One friend had a gimlet, with thyme. The next night he had a similar gimlet, with basil.We came in on Fri night of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon, last weekend in Jan, 2023. It was busy, but still pleasant. The pizzas were delicious, also-- one sausage, one mushroom and green olive-- hand- tossed crust.

We had a lovely time at the Barrel Room. Really nice cozy atmosphere and I got to try most of the Fitgers beers I wanted to try in a flight. I didn't care for the old-fashioned I ordered, but the beers were all really good, and so was the root beer. And the bartenders were attentive. I liked the cozy seating, it led to conversation starting with strangers, which is always one of the best aspects of going out to a bar.

Nice little bar in the Fitgers complex. Small, nice cocktail list. It's a little hard to tell what's on tap because the signs are chalkboards that are hard to read but the bartender was helpful with that. Stayed at the hotel and it was a nice place for a night cap

My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at The Barrel Room earlier this month and we were so happy with the level of service we received from Tom, Marci and their team. Not only were they fully accommodating while initially booking our event, during our event when we needed to provide a few guests additional meal options The Barrel Room team was flexible and allowed us to order directly off the menu. The meal options were affordable, delicious and served on time. I would definitely recommend holding an event at The Barrel Room!
