Good service and cute atmosphere, but the food was grossly overpriced and underwhelming. The bolognese was terrible - if you’re accustomed to good Italian food, this isn’t the place for you.

Great drinks & Atmosphere, although the plates looked pretty thevtast did not match. Very overpriced. I Don't recommend the Shrimp Fettuccine or Walleye dinners. I don't think I'd return Duluth has a lot of better options that are both better and more affordable.

Great food and wine, the only thing that could have been better was more heads up that the kitchen was closing, it wasn't very late on a Saturday, but it seemed like things shut down awful early

A pretty standard Italian American restaurant, can't go wrong. But nothing stands out. Just good quality food at reasonable prices. Staff can sometimes be hit or miss. But the food is always spot on for what it should be.

The food was overpriced and had no flavor. The plate was messy and covered on black pepper/oil. The food sat under a lamp and dried out. I doubt authentic Italians would approve of this food. The cheese plate was kind of a joke with soggy grapes, they were already out of bread by 6.Edit in regards to the dismissive comment left by the restaurant. As a person with severe social anxiety I did not. But I would expect staff to be aware of what they are serving and for chefs to taste/check food when they send it out. This was an obvious failure by both. Even our drinks were missing embellishments. I stand by my initial review that the food was not good.

excellent food and service. love this place

Went out for a romantic dinner with my fiancé was able to find parking nearby and they gave us a coupon to the restaurant for parking there, went in at 5:00 which was when our reservation was and we were seated immediately. Waitress took good care of us and the food was delicious. Would recommend!

I felt very underwhelmed by my experience here. Service and atmosphere were very good, but my food left to be desired. My chicken was not well seasoned and was over cooked. The men's bathroom was disappointing and I hope it does not speak for the condition of the kitchen. There was one toilet, which was not flagged as being out of order but would not flush as the valve was broken, the plumbing in the walls had been serviced and the tiles that were removed were hastily re-attached and the sinks faucet had a very loose handle that couldn't have happened overnight. I would not return here. There are better restaurants to spend less money on in Duluth.

It was Valentine's Day! We had a great meal and were happy with the attention given to us even in such a busy night. From the crab/lobster cakes at the beginning through the fancy brownie at the end, it was really great. I had a “wine flight,” too, which was fun.

I brought my girlfriend to this place last weekend while we were on vacation for her birthday. It was busy and being Saturday knew the wait was unavoidable. The hostess manager told us we would get a text to come back to sit for dinner in 30 minutes and we never got one. We showed up about the time they told us to come back and they gave our spots up... when we actually were seated, we sat down and ordered. I knew more about wine than my bartender and I've never had a sip of it in my entire life. My food came out early and my girlfriends came out an hour later. They gave us free drinks but it's still worth noting. Luckily the food tasted decent and the couple next to us were super nice.

Just really disappointing food. Had a strawberry tenderloin appetizer along with “lobscargot” and both were decent but nothing to write home about by any means…Then for my entree I ordered the spinach and ricotta gnocchi with a side of Brussels sprouts. The sprouts again were decent but not blown away by any means…The gnocchi is where the one star comes in. It was terrible. Oversized gnocchis rolled with no ridges. Straight boiled and put on the plate, no pan fry no crisping at all, just a mushy boiled dumpling. Now it could have been saved at least a bit with a decent sauce, but sadly it was equally dissatisfying. Completely under seasoned, not even any salt to be detected.I understand that businesses in canal park are going to be fine no matter what because tourists will eat whatever and be happy.. But it’s just too bad when you go to a place and pay over $60 without any alcohol involved and my meal was just downright not good. Can’t remember my servers name but he was great, no complaints there lol
