This is the best Dairy Queen in town so I hate to come here with bad news. Husband ordered a large Reese’s blizzard with extra Reece’s cups that has almost nothing in it and I got a small misty freeze that’s just a cup of syrup with some ice in it (not really enough ice for it to be an icee) No soft serve in it at all. This classic walk-up shop is awesome! Owner and staff work together often and produce consistent traditional and modern DQ treats. As an old DQ employee of 5 years this place hits home. Way to go!!!
It's a cute, quick spot to get delicious blizzards, cones, or anything else dairy-adjacent you could enjoy. The hours are pretty reasonable as the seasons go, even though they're usually closed in the late fall/wintertime. Tended by kind staff too! If you go here in the fall, try the pumpkin pie blizzard without the pie crust (not that this location's pie crust is bad, but you'll enjoy the ice cream more without it)!
