I'm a Jersey shore girl. Born Wildwood NJ.. Jersey Mikes original Italian sub (hoagie) is the closest to the state of New Jersey shore hoagie. If you could just master the bread, you'd have it. (But altitude plays a roll in bread). The Philly cheese steak is great too.
They wear gloves while ringing me up on the register which would be fine if they didn't accept cash and then walk over and touch my sandwich while wearing the same gloves they used on the register/cash handling. I shouldn't have to tell them thats not good food safety practices. It happened to me once a few months ago and I came in today hoping it would be different but they did it again.
Their hot subs are a classic for a reason. The bread is always fresh and soft, the meat is piled high and flavorful, and the cheese is perfectly melted. I particularly love their #7, the Club Sub. The combination of turkey, ham, and provolone is a timeless favorite. The staff is friendly and efficient, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're craving a delicious sub, Jersey Mike's is the place to go.
