Good food and service. It was our first visit with a granddaughter who had eaten there before, and with every entree, we were pleasantly surprised. Make a reservation! Had we not done that, we would have had to wait, and there isn't a lot of room to do that.

This spot is serving nothing for the foreseeable future, according to a sign in the window. Got conflicting information from their website, or would not have bothered making the trek through the massive construction mess that is currently downtown Duluth!

Yuck. I had the Japanese fried rice thinking it would be safe to try something new. There's just an odd flavor to their food that I don't care for. They are nice people and work very hard and I am glad that they are there but I just have never found anything I liked well enough to go back.

This was my first time visiting the Zen House today. I stopped and placed a to-go order while on my lunch break at work. I had the lunch combo; choice of 2, one-half sushi rolls and a side salad. I had the Zen Roll & Salmon Roll. The sushi was great, the service was kind, friendly, and fast, and the ambiance while waiting for my food was calm and quiet. I also can't have gluten; they gave me gluten-free soy sauce, which I was very happy about! I'll definitely be back for another lunch break!

Fried rice was not very fried. More just steamed rice with some veggies. The chicken wasn't seasoned just a boiled chicken breast pulled apart and stuck on top. Not super impressed but maybe the sushi was better. The people are very nice and prices are good.
