Went in to place an order and was told they aren’t serving walk in customers because there is a catering order that is going to take 20 minutes. I’m removing this restaurant from my lunch rotation, I’m fed up with businesses serving ghosts instead of actual people at a location. I’m done with this Potbelly location.
Went inside to order and the guy at the counter told me they were closed. Door was open. People were in there. Then someone went in after they told me they were closed and got food. Well, this will be the last time I stop here. And to think, I've consistently tipped these clowns in excess of 20% for sandwich making. Way to lose a customer.

This restaurant canceled a catering order one hour before it was supposed to be delivered. First, they called me saying they couldn’t deliver it anymore, so I scrambled to call my customer to see if they could pick it up instead. My customer agreed to do so, but then the restaurant called again just an hour before pickup to cancel the entire order.
The manager blamed me, saying I should’ve given them more notice, even though I placed the order online the day before, and the system allowed it. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend using them for catering, especially if you’re depending on them for business events.

Ordered online, missed an entire sandwich, come on. If you can’t trust them to count to four items, can you trust them to wash their hands or keep their kitchen clean? Seriously, they gave me 50% of the sandwiches I ordered, that’s pretty egregious.

The manager here was so rude. I don’t have as much of a problem with employees being rude but as a manager, you should absolutely treat your customers with respect. Overall terrible service

The general manager was very very rude and argumentative. I asked a simple question about the bogo and he was very argumentative and snarky with his replies. We drove 30 minutes for the bogo because we saw it advertised on Facebook and it did not say online that you needed the app to get the bogo. I just asked if our sandwiches worked for bogo and he was so rude back. I did not care that we didn’t get the bogo but I did not appreciate his attitude.

Ordered a kids meal, didn’t receive the cookie, applesauce or water! Ordered extra pickles on a sandwich, ended up with no pickles at all. My bad for not checking the bag before I left but for how much I paid, expected to receive all/correct items.

The service at the Eagan location has gone down since Covid. It used to be a favorite place to come. Food and atmosphere is still great, but the service is not friendly, efficient, helpful.
I asked for a shake at the order counter and they yell for shake order to the person working at the cashier. The cashier used to yell back, so that everyone knows that the order was heard. I haven't seen them do that system in several years. So, when it was obvious that the cashier didn't hear the order, I told the order taker and he didn't do anything about it. I went ahead of the line to tell them about my shake order. He got to making it right away. The shake was ready by the time my sandwich was ready. Back to the sandwich order. The topping worker asked what I wanted on my BLTA, Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado sandwich. I read the list of free toppings and told him. Then, he asked if I wanted Avocado? Yes, it comes with the BLTA sandwich, right? Why ask. I made no further comment. I get to the cashier and there is no sticker on my bag, so he asks what sandwich I ordered. I told him, but didn't clarify the size (there are 3 sizes). It didn't occur to me to say skinny. I was charged the original. How many times have I been eating a skinny and charged for a larger size. Bad service.
Ordered Door dash from here. Got the meatball sub. Sub was delicious, but was small for the price. Been to this store only once as a walk-in customer since I moved to Minnesota in 2019.
Employees are nice, and service is spot on. My only concern is that the subs are expensive for what you get. For a meatball sub Potbelly is the best, but for all other subs Jerseys Mike is my go-to sub place.
Good place to get food, especially if you're using the app. Staff at this place is mostly teenagers, so be prepared to be side eyed and barely paid attention to.
Placed an order using DoorDash at 6pm and it was to be delivered at 6:47. At 6:45 I started getting texts that the delivery was delayed. I then called Pot Belly at 7 and was informed the order had been ready for pick up for sometime. Then I called DoorDash to find out what the problem was with the delivery. I then canceled the order at 7:15. The order arrived at 7:30 and I informed the DoorDash driver the order had been cancelled. The shakes were melted by then and the food would have sat out for over an hour. Wasn’t going to risk food poisoning. Pot Belly had already charged my card and when I called about the refund, I was told it would be several days before a refund would be processed.

Ordered sandwiches as described ie: A Wreck - Salami, roast beef,ham, turkey, Swiss, lettuce,tomatoes,mayo - all sandwiches only had the meat- When I called in later the guy said, yeah we noticed that, by they didn’t ask us anything and we were actually there before they even started making the sandwiches.
He said there is a drop down box for each item.
When I said I thought that meant “extra” stuff not sandwich as described he said that was the way I was to order it all.
He hung up on me and I tried to call back he didn’t answer. He then called me back and I said never mind I will be contacting customer service.
He said “ Oh Great , so someone else is going to talk to me because you cannot navigate to order on line !! Have a great day”!!! And hung up on me AGAIN!!!
Will not be going to a Potbelly’s ever again!!!!!!
