I have been going to this location for a few years. They are among my favorite sandwiches in the Twin Cities. Since COVID-19, The last few experiences have been OK and they wear masks but there was an item missing from my last order and I didn't notice until I was home. I went today and when I ordered, I mentioned the missing item from my previous visit and they gave it me no charge. That was great.Just as the lady making the sandwiches was giving my order to the worker to bring to me, I noticed that her mask was not covering her nose. I should have asked for a refund but I was so hungry. I started to eat my sandwich in my car as I drove away (they were already closed) and I didn't finish because I was worried about the lady not wearing her mask right. This is something to look for not just here but wherever you can see them making your food. I don't know if I'll go back.

Delicious quick meal. The sandwich is made with super fresh bread. The texture and taste of the bun is what keeps me coming back. Good service too.

We love this place. We drove from Maple Grove to Edina for a sandwich cuz they're that good. Everyone is helpful and friendly. Good food, good service, it's worth the drive!

I am basing this review strictly on food, as I believe is practical when rating fast food. I hadn't eaten here in more than twenty years. Truth be told, it tastes exactly as it did last I had it, and that is remarkable. There is just something about this traditionally Italian-style sandwich, The Original, topped with, among other things, olives, tomato, onion, mustard and a garlic sauce, all between a sourdough grilled bun, that works. It is an extremely unique, but delicious creation. Nostalgia is the thing that comes to mind the most. Regardless, I can only liken it to the kind of emotions that a place like White Castle elicits. It is either love or hate, and for this guy, it's love. Try it if you haven't.

Ordered the original sandwich, bread was ok, meats & stuff good... but there was so much sauce on it that the bottom bread slice was soaked. Made it real messy to eat, order sauce on the side. A little pricey for a sandwich.

Stopped by here, because it was close to my hotel. Walked in right before they were getting ready to close. they seemed a little put out, but still made an excellent sandwich and my service was very good.
I absolutely looooooove this place. Customer service is wonderful. Place is always clean. Food of course is delicious. I just wish there were more of them here in Minnesota. But for my family and I it's worth the 30 min drive to get.

Love their sandwiches. Served fresh and with a smile. Staff was amazing and food even better than expected. It is a must try. The bed is yummy. Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
