“I liked the place but it was my first time. They did have a special event so it might have had something to do with it but the wait to order food and drinks was insanely long and then the club sandwich was really not very good, at all. I will try it again and see how it is another time, though, because I like the idea of the place.“

Liido Restaurant is one of the best Somali restaurants I have ever visited in Minneapolis.
From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by friendly and professional staff who truly make you feel at home. The restaurant is spacious, clean, and beautifully organized, making it a great place for families, friends, and visitors to enjoy a meal together.
The food quality is outstanding. Every dish is fresh, flavorful, and prepared with care. The taste is authentic and reminds you of home while maintaining a high standard of quality. Their tea is absolutely incredible rich with fresh ginger and full of flavor. It’s the kind of tea that warms your body and leaves you wanting another cup. Their Somali qahwa is equally amazing and one of the best I’ve had.
What makes Liido even more special is the atmosphere. While enjoying excellent food, you can also watch major sporting events such as the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, Serie A, World Cup matches, and many other international games on their screens. It creates a wonderful experience for sports fans and families alike.
As a Somali, it makes me proud to see a restaurant of this quality in Minneapolis. Liido Restaurant is proof that Somali hospitality, culture, and cuisine can be presented at the highest level.

“Was traveling through Burnsville and wanted to stop for breakfast and I know you can’t usually go wrong with Dennys , Had a server I think his name was victor , and he gave me and my wife the best service ever he even suggested a great place to stay while we were here and on top of that the food was on point and I just want to thank him for all his help …..“
