Zero flexibility around the Family Meal Special. Classic cheese and one signature pizza, with salads and ice cream. I wanted to add mushrooms and peppers to the cheese pizza. Adding ingredients is typically $3.50 each. But I was told ZERO additional toppings are allowed when you buy the special. TO purchase the exact same meal a la carte — with mushrooms and peppers on the cheese pizza — would have cost $20 more than the Family Meal price. Seems silly.
*Updated 4/24: Still the best pizza in town. Everyone who flocks to her other restaurants is missing out on this gem. Miss the slices and the beer, but at least the dining room is open again. Consistently delicious. We get the Hello Rita with pepperoni always and forever.Best pizza in Minneapolis. We are regulars and live no where close to here - worth a special drive.
Not only does this pizza place have the best pizza in the state, but their customer service, there are two gentlemen, one that works the register, and one that answers the phone, and they’re both super kind and seem like great people. I will continue to go here from now on. Come to this location. This is the place to get a good pizza, and a really good environment, with kind people.
