Summer dinners on the patio with my boxer are my favorite since they’re dog friendly and shower him with attention, water bowl and his own plate. I attended a catered surprise birthday party in the back room, my friend said they were amazing to work with from start to finish. The servers were very attentive to the food replenishment, clearing tables and keeping drinks full. Love this place, met the owners, they’re so nice!!”

“Everything was good great atmosphere. Steak and sides were also great. My one complaint is on menu and online offer japanese a5 wagyu which they do not have. I settled for the filet, they need to remove that since they do not have what is advertised. That is what I wanted to order until we were in restaurant and found out that they don't have a true japanese a5 steak to offer.”

“If you haven’t been to Boonies Grill you need to try it out! Pat and Erin along with a long list of staff members are welcoming and provide great service! Tyler back in the kitchen is constantly bringing new things to the table with great monthly specials that throw a twist on typical “bar food.” To top it off the atmosphere is a very rustic yet modern combining the history of the area yet giving you the Sunday football entertainment as well. Great location right off the freeway and easy access for snowmobiles and ATV’s. Great bar to try for your next outing!”

“I had the pecan walleye with vegies. It was perfectly done. Healthy and delicious. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. The ambiance is always pleasant. Folks talking but ever too loud.”

“Chicken fingers are good. Probably one of the best I've had. Don't get the hype about the sauce but I'm not really a sauce lover to begin with. Crinkle fries are good. Toast is delish! Better than I expected but man that drive through line is always so long. I recommend going in to sit down and eat-not much of a wait.”

We had the ahi tuna stack, miso sea bass, and the lobster pasta (can’t remember the name) and everything was INCREDIBLE. We wanted to order pretty much everything, it was so hard to decide! I would officially consider this one of the best menus south of the River - can’t wait to come back and do another round of taste testing until we make our way through the whole menu! “Our family loves the James Gang! Whether we're dining in or grabbing something to go, it's always such an uplifting experience. We're always greeted with a friendly, smiling staff member and the food is hot, fresh and delicious. I placed an online order recently and even though I was running about 8 minutes late to pick it up, my breakfast sandwich was nice and hot and the girls had my drink ready and steamed the milk right as I arrived so it was nice and hot for me. Quality food and drinks, encouraging atmosphere and caring staff, the James Gang has a 5 star rating in our family!”
