Great drinks and good service even though the bar side was packed full. The chicken wild rice soup never disappoints. We tried the nachos and those are so, so. The cheese wasn’t fully melted, but decent amount of beef, lettuce, salsa and sour cream. Next time we will stick with the wings as those are always great.

This is a cute little restaurant in the Ely lodge. It was convenient to be able to walk down stairs from our room to grab breakfast. I had the French toast with fruit ( the fruit was from the freezer mostly thawed, aka: mushy) the other person in my party had eggs, toast, bacon, and hashbrowns. He said his meal was good. It’s always a let down when there isn’t a pork alternative on the menu for breakfast. We were charged for 2 coffees we didn’t get. Our waiters words “my bad.” This coming from a 50 something yr old man. 🤔 I’m guessing from the good reviews their other meals of the day are good.

Busy place so you should make a reservation. But if you walk in, they have seating outside the restaurant in the hotel lobby, or in the bar. Either way, the service was decent and the food was excellent. Recommend the pan-fried walleye - probably the best walleye I've ever eaten. Looking forward to our return to Ely for a visit to the Evergreen.

Great spot for lunch. Sat outside to overlook the lake. Would happily return. 10,000 Lakes Sandwich (i.e., walleye) was quite good. Onion paddles were meh. Wild rice soup was delicious.

Food was pretty good (breakfast) and lovely staff. Cute cabin vibe. Would recommend! I had a skillet and french toast, both delicious. Omelet and Chicken fried steak was also. The pricing was also decent!

I ordered the sirloin steak with Parmesan shrimp. The steak was very dry and tough. They were very busy, and although the server was trying hard to keep up with the orders it took over an hour to get our food and items were forgotten.
