When I first saw the name of this place I was somewhat resolved not to go there. I hated that name. I've been there a few times now, and I have to say their food is some of the best. I normally have the spinach and strawberry salad, but the last time I ordered their smashburger. AMAZINGLY GOOD! I didn't enjoy the din from the TV sets all over the place, making conversation hard. I highly recommend the food and service here.
This review is long overdue! Being Ely residents we dine at the Frisky Otter often and have wonderful meals every time. Yesterday we tried the specials: Chicken Parm w/pasta and Linguine with Fresh Clams - Wow! Both entrees were absolutely fabulous. We were served generous portions that were so incredibly tasty it was tough to put the fork down. The Otter has certainly brought dining out on the Range to another level. What a great addition to the Northland!💖
Food, drinks were great and Ella was a phenomenal server.
