“I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how great this shop was. We got to go orders and it was quick to park, run in and go. Sandwiches were so good and were fresh (there was just a lot of plastic wrapping). There were so many menu options to choose from I will have to soonbe back to try more. The two nice gals behind the counter seemed like they fit right in to the cozy little shop. There were a few tables and chairs, not somewhere for bigger parties. However, get your party's food to go from here and enjoy.“

“Post pandemic improvements really made this a great spot for sports, drinks, dart and pool league as well as events with a space above the bar available for rental. Always good service and an owner who truly looks out for his patrons safety!“

“I got the Peanut butter bacon burger, it was good but the patty seemed small. Person I was with had the gyro and really liked it.They also give a discount if paid in cash.Kid-friendliness: Is a bar also, but restaurant area is large enough and my kids enjoyed their breakfast.“

“The only reason I gave 2 stars for the food is because, through no fault of the establishment, our chicken was extremely over cooked. The sad part is, they are short staffed. Another excellent restaurant “falling apart” because of staff shortage. Local restaurants are starting to disappear. I still love Sammy’s!! I sure hope they can get the staff they deserve.“

“A cute, clean and fun country local pub with great people, bands and FABULOUS FOOD. Good specials. The best wings I have ever had and that is saying something. Philly Cheesesteak with au jus is hubby's favorite. Super good homemade pizza and lots more. You will not be disappointed in the food or the service.“

“It must be a night "off". I ordered a small lasagna with an extra slice of garlic bread. Upon opening, the lasagna was deconstructed. the sauce was amazing but chunky! The meal was luke warm and tasted microwaved. I'll try again because the sauce is so good. *Sidenote* I was told 5 p.m. so the driver who came back from delivery took my name. The young woman was so friendly when she came out! Unless it had been sitting 15 minutes, it shouldn't have been luke warm with hard cheese. I recommend a second try but not sure when. There are many places with hot, fresh lasagna.“

“This is a must stop pizza place either heading to, or coming from Duluth, or stopping in Cloquet! This pizza was so good I almost forgot to take a photo of it, hence the missing pieces. This pizza was loaded with fresh toppings and the crust was crisp and fresh, even the middle pieces had a crunch! “They aren’t open very often but Byron and Caroline are very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and super good prices! They also have an assortment of homemade jams, honey, and syrup you can by inside they restaurant. Great small town feel and hospitality. The kids love it.“
