Our server was outstanding. He knew the menu well and made suggestions when asked. We all loved our meals, and we tried out the dessert flight, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Great college girls night out.
I always highly recommend Hazelwood Tonka Bay!! It begins with outstanding staff; open plan kitchen, and a beautiful dining room and continues to wonderful entrées, sharable plates and deserts. Really appreciate the high standards the restaurant so flawlessly executes. A must stop in the Excelsior/Tonka Bay Area!!
My Sweetheart and I grew a little hungry while on the road. We decided to stop in charming Excelsior for a snack. We came upon The Hazelwood and ordered the Lobster Bisque and of course the signature Popovers.
The Lobster Bisque was very, very special and absolutely delicious. This tells the whole story. The Chef is gifted.
