It helps to appreciate small town history and architecture when visiting here. The story behind the place, the efforts and sacrifices made to keep the place open. I love the bar stool setting option, makes you feel like you're in an old school dinner. All that along with the best coffee! the freshest basic breakfast options you'll find around and delicious pancakes! is why I give the rating. Edie's is definitely a place I will routinely visit when in the area.
Three Generations have managed Edie's in Downtown Fairmount MN. Friendly Fast Service. The Building needs a thorough cleaning ( has that musium smell) over all nice place. Historical district. A place Mike Wolfe should try.

Excellent little breakfast place in Fairmont, I got the 2 egg omelette with some extras and it was fabulous. The service was great and the venue is in a cool, historic building.Highly recommend if you're passing through.
