This is my first stop every year at the State Fair. The Black Currant Tea is the best! Next to the Scones! This year they offer a SconeNut which is a cross between a scone and a donut!

BUT Wait! There's More! The best thing was the service that I received from Eden and CJ! These two youngsters knocked it out of the park. To see people wanting to work long hours and deliver with true smiles and authenticity made my first stop extra special! THANKS,...
A pioneer in the "farm to table" dining experience long before the term became commonly used. Only organic produce and meats served. In fact, French Meadow was the first certified organic bakery in the country when is started in 1985. They do an excellent job catering to many diets including gluten free and vegan. I ordered the Braised Beef entree and it was excellent. Service was a bit slow and disjointed but luckily, we were in no rush.
Lunch at the French Meadow is always good. I usually order one of their incredible salads, but on a recent visit I opted for their tomato basil soup. I swear it was so good that I could have ordered a gallon of it to go. Definitely made with fresh ingredients. My friend enjoyed the roasted beet & pear salad.
