Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar Reviews
I visited the State Fair on Thursday 08/28/2025. At approximately 9:30 PM I visited the booth located at the West side of Underwood St. between Murphy & Lee Avenues. I am deeply disappointed in the treatment I received from the staff.
I am disabled and use a scooter. I requested a cup. I stated I’m disabled and have a disability accommodations request. I requested that they put the cup together like they usually do and then dump it into a bucket w a lid. I was told “absolutely...read full review

Based on the reviews, Sweet Martha's Cookie Jar is an iconic staple at the Minnesota State Fair, known as the best cookies in the Midwest. The cookies are warm, gooey, and overflowing in the bucket. The restaurant is packed as always, with multiple locations throughout the fairgrounds, but the line moves super fast. The typical pick is a massive bucket of cookies piled so high that you have to eat 20 cookies just to get the lid on. The sane option is a small cup with about 10-12 cookies. The cookies are best hot and fresh, but once home, they are good for another few days if nuked in the microwave for 8 seconds. They offer milk here too, or you can go to the AYCD milk stand. The person serving tried their best to pile on the buckets as much as possible. Some recommend purchasing their frozen cookie dough at most grocery stores instead of waiting in an hour-long line. These cookies are addictive, and a bucket is for 2 or 3 people at most.
