We visited the Blue Barn and had been looking forward to trying the Sweet Potato Poutine. The description that we read said that it was supposed to be sweet potato waffle fries with cheese curds and turmeric gravy. There were a few small fries in a little tray, but no cheese curds to be found. The gravy was almost also nonexistent. My husband, children and I were having the best time at the state fair enjoying all the great food and fun until we reached “The Blue Barn” and we’re disappointed with the service and taste of the breakfast Gnocchi and sweet potato poutine! They were the nastiest things we have ever tasted in our lives! First off they served it to us without gloves on. (sanitation issues, thank god we didn’t get sick!) Secondly it was soggy.
