Janna's is the best place to go for great food, pastries, and coffee! And the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. It's my favorite place to go for breakfast!

When ordering my breakfast I was asked if I wanted cheese on my hash browns leading me to believe hash browns came with the meal. I said no thanks to the cheese. Only when my meal came did I find out that the hash browns were not a part of the meal and there is also a up charge for the hash browns. If I had ordered the cheese with the hash browns I would not have known about the up charge until I reviewed my recipe. Feeling this was intentional. And not appropriated. It’s okay to inform your customers about the additional expense for the meal. Other than this the food was very good and yes I would still eat there again.

My friend and I ordered the classic breakfast and asked for extra crispy hash browns and extra crispy bacon. Both were spot on! We ordered coffee as well and had to ask how to get it. They pointed to a coffee machine station, so I went over and stood with another guest who was trying to figure out the cup sizes and how to work the machines. My friend's black coffee overflowed, despite entering the cup size on the screen. I stopped my coffee to prevent that from happening. I added cream (sad little peely-top half and half cups). Both of us took a sip and burned our tongues. I scooped all of the ice out of my ice water into my coffee and it still took 10 minutes before I could drink my coffee. There were no signs indicating the intensity of the coffee temp. After all that, the coffee tasted just ok. I would come back for the food, though. And the service was all smiles and very friendly. Overall a fun shop with interesting gift items for sale. Cute location. Easy to park nearby, even on a weekend.

We were traveling in the Faribault area and found Janna’s when Googling restaurants. What a treasure! They were super friendly, and went above and beyond in accommodating the food sensory issues of our special needs son. The food was excellent and the atmosphere unique and comfortable. Highly recommend this establishment, and wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!
