We came in a couple weeks ago and our server was Avalon. She was very friendly and attentive. Will be back!

I’ve been coming to Perkins for years, mostly out of nostalgia and a love of a solid diner breakfast. But lately, I’ve noticed a strange phenomenon: the pancakes have been slowly disappearing... like a magic trick, but without the fun.

Let’s talk pancakes — one of the cheapest foods on earth to make. Eggs, flour, milk, and heat. Yet somehow, Perkins has managed to double the price while cutting the portion in half. It's like I'm paying steakhouse prices for two silver-dollar pancakes and a splash of syrup that wouldn’t hydrate a waffle.

I get that prices are going up everywhere — I’m not mad about the cost going up. But the sneaky way the portions have shrunk? That’s the insult. Just be honest. If you need to charge more, fine. But don’t pretend the pancake plate is the same when you’ve clearly pulled a culinary disappearing act. Just straight up disrespectful to the consumer!

I left hungrier than when I arrived and mildly offended that Perkins thinks I wouldn’t notice.

Here’s an idea: either bring back the original portion or offer a “Honest Pancakes” menu where I at least know what I’m paying for. Until then, I’ll be flipping my own pancakes at home — cheaper, fluffier, and not half a portion shy of satisfying.

Stopped here for supper on 6.30.2025 on my way to Minneapolis from Clear Lake, Iowa. I have eaten at several Perkins locations during my travels across the United States and the majority of them are generic. However, this location is an Exception! My server, Alexis V, was Amazing, Awesome, Spectacular, and Outstanding! One of the best waitresses I have encountered and an absolute pleasure to talk with while I took a break from driving. Thank You Alexis!!

Went to get two slices of pie to go at 9:30 as the Faribault Perkins closes at 10pm and they already had their doors locked 30 minutes before they were supposed to be closed

We tried to eat yesterday, but the waiter forgot about us. After sitting for 45 minutes in the booth, we decided to leave. The cashier said it was our fault and we should have gone to the kitchen to pick it up because our food was just sitting there getting cold. Huh? It’s beyond me. We respectfully tried to pay for the beverages we did get, but she waved her hands at our faces and told us to leave. We didn’t ask for an apology but it would have been nice to get one. I’m bewildered and it sounds like I’m making this up, but I’m not. We just walked away defeated and hungry. Not a pleasant feeling, and such a waste of food going in the garbage. I will never recommend.

Used to be a great, friendly place. Over the last 5 years they lost their top staff due to poor management.

Nice calm atmosphere, food was good and came out quick. A little disappointed in my slice of pie, the picture showed a mound of strawberries on a slice of strawberry pie. I got 3 strawberries on my slice 😔

My wife and I regularly go out for breakfast after church, and last Sunday was no exception. This time we stopped at Perkins in Faribo, MN. in our opinion its a good breakfast stop. However this time we are watching our money closely. My wife had a veggie omelet I had a meat lovers omelet, fruit bowl, and 2 muffins, my wife had coffee and I had water!!! our bill was nearly $50 over $50 if you include the tip. What is happening, needless to say we will be limiting our expenses and eat at home more often. Wow they were expensive eggs
