What a gem! This is what smaller cities/towns like Faribault need, an upscale non-franchise restaurant!! The food was great, loads of interesting choices, excellent service (our waitress Kim was super), and the building/atmosphere would get high marks in downtown Minneapolis. You gotta check this place out!

It was our 1st time at Redemption and we really enjoyed the food. The Caesar Salad was a meal in itself. The steak & mushroom Ravioli was delicious. My husband ordered a steak & was equally impressed with how good it was. As for drinks, the espresso martini wasn't good (very bitter undertones), not like the espresso martinis I've had at other restaurants. I couldn't even finish the espresso martini as it was too bitter. My husband ordered a craft beer and while it tasted good initially, it was also bitter towards the bottom of the glass.

This place was great! We decided on a last minute dinner here and could not have been more pleased. We enjoyed the Pineapple Jalepeno Margarita and Grapefruit Rosemary Gimlet and would highly recommend both. A few of us got entrees and a couple apps. I loved the pot roast but all were amazing!

Great brunch menu. Lots of flavor from fresh produce. California Club omelet was super good and filling. Also, I had candied bacon for a starter, which is very delicious. Breakfast burrito is what my partner got, and very good as well. Definitely recommend 👌.
First visit here, had the parmesan walleye dinner. The walleye was very good, it was served with mashed red potatoes and parmesan broccoli. All was very well done and very tasty! The place is in an old building and the look is very cool. Server was very good and friendly. We plan to be back again soon!

Great place. Not sure if tonight was an off night, but I do have 4 specific opportunities for improvement.
1. When a patron is sitting at the bar (and is currently the ONLY person at the bar) watching something on one of the three televisions (News) please ask them politely, before you change the channel to duplicate one of the other screens with the same sports game.
2. You spelled Brussels sprouts wrong on your menu. Yes, there is an S.
3. Heavy on the butter with the Sea Bass. I love butter, but it was swimming in a lake on my plate.
4. Lastly, the bar tender could offer a second drink before closing out the tab.
Again, great place. Hopefully, this was a one off.

06/08/2025 3:30PM - :I am a bit upset. I was traveling to southern Minnesota on Sunday 06/08/2025 and after reviewing their website thought I'd stop at Redemption for dinner. Their website clearly stated that they were serving dinner until 8pm - brunch until 2pm. When I pulled up at 3:30 they were already closed! Talk about a disappointment.

The Redemption Restaurant is absolutely an incredible place to bring family, friends to enjoy a delicious brunch or an amazing dinner. My fiancé and I love it here. The food is always delicious, service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is beautiful and very welcoming.
