Ambience was lovely! My fiancé and I brought my mom here as a little treat. She's visiting for the week and she said it was very good! She's been craving steak all week and it definitely hit the spot! The service was very friendly and we appreciated the constant check ins we received. For the drink I got - I think the ice cubes were made of something spicy. (As my drink melted it got a little spicy) was a good drink but if you don't like spicy then this drink might not be for you. The steak tips were wonderful was an entree for me and the chocolate cake was a perfect size to share to end our night.

the steak crostini was sooo good, I could eat those all day long. we came in later in the evening and the service was quick, the waitress was nice. we would definitely go back again!
Ok, not great. I really want to pull for this place. Faribault needs a couple of good restaurants. We had a great meal a couple of months ago at their sister property in Northfield. We had high expectations for this place. Sadly, it was a disappointment. 2 of the 6 orders were wrong. 3 of the 6 orders were cold. There was a 15 minute delay between the first orders being delivered and the last meal delivered. The food was mediocre at best. Will give it another shot. Staff was very friendly.

Last night February 2, was my birthday and my husband took me to the Redemption for dinner. Ordered the salmon, which was listed on the menu as an 8 oz. filet. It was a tiny piece that looked like 4 oz. Although beautifully presented with excellent and creamy garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus (six skinny spears), it was NOT the meal advertised on the menu. And NOT worth $28. Never going back again! The ambience and service were great. The food, not so much.

Yes this place may have some decent food and it’s a cool building. That does not make up for the terrible attitude the staff has. I have been turned away multiple times and not politely. There is always some issue or some stupid comment they need to make that make you or other people feel stupid or in welcome. Honestly this place needs to learn some customer service if they want to last.
Our family really enjoys this place. We've celebrated a few special occasions here.The steak crostini is a must for an appetizer. The chicken tortellini and the chicken ravioli were delicious. The white sauce had to have been from scratch, so so good. The meatloaf has been a repeat order for us as well.Great service and nice atmosphere.
I was visiting from out of town and someone recommended Redemption. I had a great rotisserie chicken sandwich with tasty coleslaw. Bartender/Manager/? Was pretty cool. Nice beer selection.

We really enjoyed our meal and drinks at Redemption. Our server had been working there for years and was very helpful. The only small comment we have is that we were celebrating our anniversary and had specifically requested a quiet area, which the host noted when we were seated. Then they seated a party of 10 with children right next to us. We finished our meal and went somewhere else for after dinner drinks. Otherwise very nice place!
