“This place is so cool by putting it right on the shore of the Otter Tail River in a place that nobody else would have thought of. They struck gold and are setting the example of riverside development. Everyone should come and experience this great new place.”

“I will go out of my way to go here anytime I am in northwestern MN! A total win finding this amazing cafe with the highest quality, DELICIOUS food for my family! Amanda was kind and working super hard! The quinoa buns were incredible and I wish I could buy them by the dozen! The banana brownie was the best banana dessert I have ever had! We also had the margarita sliders. I can’t describe how delicious they were. You just have to go and try them! Salads were fresh with high quality ingredients. Pulled pork was tasty and piled high. My picky eater even ate it all!!! My youngest declared it was the best grilled cheese she’s ever had. From the simple to the gourmet, it was all savored and we leave sad only because it’s 3 hours from our house! This was our best restaurant choice of our road trip out west. Anyone lucky enough to live close to frequent the Fabled Farmer is blessed!”

“Thoroughly impressed with the service, atmosphere and the menu, including the beverage and dessert menu. I ordered the Bacon Smash burger with onion rings and a glass Michael David Freakshow Cab. They paired well together and I enjoyed every bite and sip. Perfectly seasoned, juicy burger with the perfect amount of crisp to the bacon. My friend was equally pleased with his Cali Smash burger with a side of fries and water. also, got a To-go order of the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo that came with a breadstick. My bro said it was”hit the spot” so that means he liked it. Highly recommended!”

“Food was good, service was awful. Our waitress brought our drinks (pop), took our order, and she never back to our table . We ended up getting our food to go from a bartender. Restaurant wasn’t busy. It took 45 minutes to get our food (a Reuben, a hamburger; both with chips)”

“My experience at Dairyland was absolutely wondeful. It was my first time visiting this place and I saw right away that the drive thru was extremely busy. But the lobby was opened for business which is what I prefer anyways! It was quick, delicious, and a wonderful experience.”

“I gave unfavorable comments about a year ago. I decided to try it again a week ago for lunch. Vastly different and very good. The full restaurant was open and busy. Atmosphere very pleasant. Service fast and food very good. It has returned to what it was in it’s hayday!”

“Went to eat breakfast here because Rothsay Truck Stop which is SUPPOSED to be 24/7 had a note on door when we got there that they closed at 1 am....then drive all the way to Fergus to find a Note on the door here when the website says 24/7 also....what a CROCK!!”

“I travel past Fergus and this may be the second or third time I’ve stopped at this Taco John’s.
It is clean. The wait staff friendly. They were trying to help a gentleman order a special request on the kiosk.
I didn’t get what I ordered though. After I left with my food and was eating it I realized it wasn’t what I ordered. I looked at my receipt—which I should have done right when I got it—and realized the order was put in wrong.
The good tastes just like it should from a Taco John’s.”

“I clicked "DO NOT RECCOMEND BTW." Smashed burger, large fries 2/3 full, cheese curds about 2/3 full. I guess whatever size your order you'll actually net the next size smaller. Onion rings would've been ok but all the sides (fries , cheese curds and onion rings) were cold and limp. No condiments of any matter or receipt. The best 24 bucks I spent today (insert sarcasm and cuss words here). Ironic that the onion ring box says "Ketchup's preferred mode of transportation!" lmao Next time I'll transport myself to another restaurant. We're all done (friends and family) with the fast food crap shoot gamble!! Especially at the prices today!!”
