We had Valentine's Day dinner at Zens because we have enjoyed their catering immensely in the past. We had the steak and seafood special for two, which included tenderloins, a lobster tail, shrimp, bacon-wrapped scallops, a side, salad or soup and a pop over. Our food was flawless. Lovely space on the main drag of Fergus Falls. Perfect atmosphere for a date night or business dinner. It is a challenge being a vegetarian/pescatarian traveling through greater Minnesota. I ordered pasta with shrimp. It was good but I wish there had been more options to choose from. salad was excellent. I also love that they serve popovers with the meal! It is like an old school Dayton's restaurant. A good place for dinner if visiting Fergus.

The food was better than average, but the service was only so-so. I did like that, compared to their opening months, the lighting was dimmed somewhat. The steaks were good, and done to request properly. The loaded mashed potatoes were average. Our drinks weren't exactly what we ordered, and, when a dish was found to be unavailable, no substitute was even offered beyond a shrug.
