“We were there for a late lunch like 1 PM before then 2 PM close. Had a 10-15 minute wait for a table (well worth the wait} Had their special of the day Hot turkey sandwich. Bump's in Glencoe, MN is kind of my standard and this one was right there. The waitress stated their pork hot commercial will stand up to any. Now lets get to the pies. All made in house, my banana cream was the best Our waitress confessed to make this pie. My table mate had the cherry pie and called it great. Said it probably not the canned cherries we are used to but could not figure out the secret. Then there is the Carmel roll we too for breakfast, well it did not last for breakfast”

“Excellent pizza of a kind that seems unique to the Midwest. Thin crust without being super thin, a little floppy rather than crispy, and cut ACROSS the pizza in two directions, creating many small pieces that are two or three bites each. Well-balanced sauce, just the right amount of cheese, and Italian sausage with just a touch of heat. Ready about 20 minutes after ordering. Also got some of the broasted chicken. Also excellent!”

“Escobar's is a place you have to stop and grab food if your in lakes area ! It has a colorful atmosphere & pick up orders can be ready in minutes. Lots of options with authentic tex mex flavor ! Highly recommend the chicken burrito with queso, chips and salsa & a side of avacado !Parking: Plenty of parking in front, on the street or in the liquor store parking lot.”

“Today I ordered 5 buck lunch chcken strip, a lady handed me my order, the chicken was cold, and I showed her, she took back the chicken, and laughed.After waiting 2 more minutes, I just drived and left my order.Edit: The DG changed a lot, I asked the staff and they told me different owner took over, now every order is perfect, mostly I order the chicken basket, now its hot with enough dipping sauce. “Okay here is the thing. Burger King has the best fries of fast food places. Hands down. The service here could use some work every so often, but honestly I get it. I have usually ended up here near lunch hour and that rush is brutal everywhere. In terms of hanging out in the lobby, honestly the burger king sit down experience is probabaly one of the better and more comfortable options. Would come to this location again.”

“New to the area and found this quaint little bar restaurant about 5 miles from us. The service was good as we were the only ones there at about 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Basic fare, burgers and sandwiches. Fries were the mini French cuts, would have preferred larger fries. They did custom order a sandwich for us as my significant other is vegetarian. Only open from 11-8 PM. They definitely could do a landslide if they opened earlier for breakfast. All in all a nice experience. We'll be back for sure.”

“Truck driver here, wanted to get something to eat and stopped by this bar/restaurant. They had parking where i could fit my semi truck. I placed an order to eat there and one to go. The train wreck burger was incredible, when they said thick cut bacon they meant it! Flavor was amazing. To go i got the loungecar club. Hand cut turkey and ham, 3 slices of bread, tomatoes lettuce just a great big sandwich. The fries were fresh and crispy. Definitely worth the stop. They have a full bar as well which I couldn't enjoy cuz I had to go back to driving but there was plenty of people taking advantage of the bar. Overall great stop, definitely will be back when the road takes me that way again.”
