“We try to make it to Spanky’s a couple times a year. The food is outstanding and service is too. We had a young waiter this time and he seemed new. He was fine, just not the service we are used to. Our table had the filet Oscar, trust me, and prime rib. Corking fee was $15, but did not get a cooler to keep the wine chilled, so that is why I’m giving 4 stars. Spanky’s is one of the best values for fine dining!”

“Crazy fun place to be! Great food, great service and an all around good time! Friday night Taco special is very good! Burger night is amazing. Prime Rib is my favorite. It is seasoned perfectly and the cole slaw rocks! I love getting together with the neighbors for a beer. Great ”

Their store is always neat and clean as well as the restrooms.Employees are very helpful and willing to take that extra step to ensure you well taken care of. “The food was excellent. The menu was extensive enough to find something you might like or have difficulty deciding what you would like. Their was a good selection of pies, the banana cream pie was excellent. My table mate seemed to like the giant cookies. The waitress was actually rather entertaining and very attentive. I would have no problem going back or recommending to any wanting. I am thinking this would be what I call my go to restaurant when in the area.”

“Whooee this is small town down home cooking at its best. Great friendly service. Decor from the 1990s. Which I love and the food is great. I had the cheeseburger basket $7 and Sausage Soup $4. All I will say if Sausage soup is on the menu when you're there order it! Stop you will certainly be back!! Oh and almost forgot..I had a piece of homemade blueberry pie for desert. Yummy!!”

“We had our company family day event at Zorbaz. As the day approached I was anxious at how the space would be able to accommodate such a large crowd (500 RSVPs). Wow the staff did such a great job, kept the pizza buffet filled the whole time we were there with tasty pies. Just a really great day.”

“Have great memories of going up there with my friends parents Mike and Anna (R.I.P to both of them) in mid 90's-early 00's the kids would get our trailer nearest to the dock and the parents and family members would stay in the other trailer . every year it got more fun . the bar and restaurant was really cool and locals were cool to us even though we were from mpls/St.paul . The had a nice pontoon we could use and the fishing was really good from dock or boat . also had tubbing for cheap called "Ed's river run" on the ottertail , drinking cheap beer and hooking up with gals from up north lol was a blast . plan on bringing my son up next summer with some of his buddies if all is the same . trailers were clean people were nice .”

Just be cautious of your drinks and who you're meeting. Keep your eyes on your drinks you never know who's going to give you something when you go to the bar. Been going here for many years. Just be cautious of your drinks I got slipped something when I was at the bar on Monday. And it has taken my life for a ride since. (Also to clarify I met a female coworker. They had a shot ready for me when I got there. I trusted my coworker and it was a bad life choice. If you don't have the drink come straight from the bartender and have eyes on it the whole time do not trust it.)”
