After reading these reviews everything makes much better sense about the experience I just had. First of all...way to crowded which is great! But absolutely no parking. They need a couple of take out spots for people that are just picking up their orders. The worst part is the actual ordering of food online!!! Bad service, ignored by servers. Walked past us many times while we were waiting by the hostess stand without making eye contact or even saying we will be right with you. Then we went over to the bar and continued to be ignored. We placed a to go order and walked in about 5:55 the place wasn’t that busy. After about 20min, finally a lady bartender asked if we could be helped. We got home and our order for the buffalo chicken sandwich was wrong. Pizza was good but not a great...read full review
The server/bartender ignored us. I don’t no to blame them or the people that actually schedule servers in bartenders. We wanted to order food, and we were sitting at the bar and ordered a beer a piece. Then we asked to see a menu and wanted to order food and the server bartender walked past us and help somebody else and that person had to say well. those people are waiting to order first. The Pizza Pub location on the lake offers amazing views and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is fresh, flavorful and served quickly. Appetizers are amazing; a pretzel appetizer with mustard dip and good queso is plenty to share. The menu includes Pickle pizza, pan pizza with thin crust, pizza pub special medium pizza that is a little heavy on the sauce, and Kids pizzas with ranch dip that are very good. A Tequillaberry salad is offered, though it can be a little skimpy on dressing. Sandwiches such as a walleye sandwich are quite good. Drinks include happy hour drinks, pop for $3 a cup, and a mojito when fresh mint is available. Service is great with friendly and efficient staff, though service can be hit and miss. The setting is awesome with lake views that feel like being outside even when inside on a muggy night. Pop is $3 a cup but can feel expensive. A fee for debit card use is charge. The service by the waitress is great. The setting is awesome and the lake views are special. Overall the food and drinks are great and overall the experience is pretty good and highly recommend for great pizza, excellent service and a friendly local spot.
