“This is a “must do” if you’re spending any time in the Alexandria area. We originally stopped in for a drink on the way to dinner, and ended up spending the night here. The grounds are beautiful and laid out in a way that you can enjoy a quiet, peaceful table or mix in with others around picnic tables. We enjoyed a wine flight, Healthy Handful & Norwegian Haze from 22 Northmen brewery, and 3 pizzas from Stoke (spicy Italian, spicy sausage & pepperoni and the Margherita). Everything we tried we thoroughly enjoyed!”

Update: 7 years later, and we’re still loyal customers! It’s Sunday morning, and the usual suspects have gathered to share jokes and to catch up on what’s happening in the community! The food keeps coming out of the kitchen piping hot, and the coffee keeps pouring before you can see the bottom of the cup! Good food, good friends, good times.”

“First off, they have nicely displayed rolled rags for paper towels in the bathroom… not only that, but incense sticks for fragrant… menu cater to vegan, vegetarian and gluten free…their sweet and sour sauce is LEGIT. I’m vegan and their fried bean sprout tofu was phenomenal. Just not spicy enough but said they could’ve made it much spicier. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. 10/10”

“I am a relative newcomer to Alexandria. Country Blossom Farm is one of my go to places. Today I bought and baked their Chicken Pot Pie. Incredible! Flaky crust, beautifully cooked veggies and well seasoned chicken. Worth every penny. It’s like going back in time when I got off the school bus and into Mom’s kitchen and smelled fresh bread or pie.”

“After a hot 36 holes of mini-golf, four us landed on Copper Trail for beer and grub. We loved everything we drank and ate. My spouse and I shared the birria beef quesadillas and the cobb salad. All ingredients were fresh and flavorful! The staff taking the order were helpful and friendly, and the vibe is fun and welcoming. We'll be back!”

She keep us updated on how long our food would take, brought my 10 month old a popover to eat while we waited! “Stopped in the bakery for a treat. We had never been in the bakery before, or never been to Alexandria before either. It smells so delicious in there. We bought two lemon Napoleons, we shared one for our treat and saved the other for next day. They were so flaky, lemony and delicious !!! Thank you Roers bakery for the good treats.”

“Today is the start of the Common Ground Coffee and Soup House!! First soup 🍜 bowl I am trying is the Broccoli, Ham and Cheese Soup. The flavor is great! I would give the soup a 8.5 and the only change would be to use a different type of cheese. Not all cheese should be used in soups or for melting purposes… but the flavor is definitely there!! Awesome!! Second soup I am trying right now is Chicken Wild Rice Soup! OMG this is AWESOME!! The flavor is great, it has vegetables you can see and taste and that adds to the flavor! Definitely a 9.5+! Two more new ones to try but I will in a bit! Come and sample, soups are free today!! I have had three different ones before this and they were all awesome!! So happy Bill started serving soup!!”
