“We visited while travelling through the area. They were very welcoming and the steaks were some of the best we ever had. The owner came over to chat and made us feel like we were regulars. We will go again if we are in the area.Kid-friendliness: They had a kid's menu and even brought them ice cream at the end of the meal.”

“First time visiting this place. Sorry we waited 3 months to try it!!! It was quiet when we arrived, but we immediately noticed that it's clean and surprisingly roomy. The fenced patio is decent-sized new concrete with funky old wooden spool-type tables (check out the names in the concrete outside the fence...fun!). The men's room is a hoot, if you care to explore! Emily was tending and serving. Very nice, fast on her feet, and made us feel right at home. Great smile! Happy attitude! She should train people for those positions in every restaurant from Albert Lea to Owatonna! Jason was doing the cooking. We didn't get to meet him, but we sure liked what he sent out from the kitchen!! He's gifted! We started with the broccoli cheddar bites--so so SO good! Should've gotten two orders. We had the special (chicken, mashed, rice, slaw and a roll), and the taco salad (without taco meat, and Emily didn't even bat an eye at that weird request). Both meals were wonderful! I do wish they had a grown-up's grilled cheese on the menu (say, with sunflower nuts, or potato chips, or fries in it), but that's just my bizarre taste, and it certainly won't keep us from returning. The menu includes all the standard sandwich options you expect to find in a classic cafe The cheeseburgers are classic and the fries are crispy crinkle style and perfectly cooked. “Smokin Bros catered my son and daughter-in-laws wedding last night and the groom's dinner and we couldn't have asked for better food. We had ribs, pork loin and shredded chicken along with cheesy potatoes, beans and mac salad and hot dogs. People raved about the food all night and I had two people ask for their info. I would highly recommend them for ANY event that you are having. Thank you guys for making the meal remarkable.”

“I will never order delivery from here again. I was NOT notified it would be delivered by Doordash. I would have NEVER agreed. I am extremely angry and would not have placed an order and will never again. Wrong of me to assume you would have your own delivery people like several other companies. I NEVER order delivery and I took a chance because I have a sick one. So angry. Doordash is a joke that steals sometimes and delivers cold food, every time.The food was indeed cold, but it was DELICIOUS. Which doesn’t usually happen at the same time. I will be back IN store for food, when I am physically get it myself. I had stick around and didn’t want to cook. Delivery was double the time it takes to get to my home, 19 min instead of 10 after picked up. Paying extra for tip and delivery for cold food isn’t fun. Especially when the tip isn’t going to the store employees too. I don’t like external deliveries.”

“A elderly lady claimed she was shorted a sandwich. The lady in back(I assume was a manager) came out and was really gruff with the lady and in the end the elderly lady was right, she was shorted. Held up the line and really wasn't very peaceful. The cashier was also trying to explain and was basically talked over.”
