“We recently tried out Lat 14 in Golden Valley and had a wonderful time!

Upon entrance the atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant with attentive service and staff.

We started with the Basil Wings, they had a delicious crispy exterior and were soft and tender inside paired with fried jalapenos and a hint of lime, definitely a highlight of the night! We also tried the Snow Crab Wontons, which did not disappoint, they were tasty and served with the Apricot Sweet Chili sauce that added a fruity sweetness that tied it all together.

To follow, we went with the Khao Soi Chiang Mai, served in a generous bowl, it was a dish that was enjoyable and had a little kick to it! The Chicken Adobo Fried rice was flavorful, served with a sunny side up egg and soy vinegar braised bone-in chicken, all very tender.

Throughout our stay we tried a few different cocktails, the Jasmine 45, by simply looking around we noticed how popular it was and I would totally recommend it, it was bubbly, sweet, and refreshing! The Mango Mojito was very good, it reminded us of a mango soda rather than a mojito. The Lat 14 Old Fashioned was perfect for slowly sipping throughout the night. Lastly, the Espresso Martini, made with a mix, we usually prefer them on the stronger side, this one was very light and smooth.

To end the night off we tried the Luq’s Scoop for dessert, it was a delicious toasted coconut ice cream served with caramelized pineapple, toasted coconut flakes, and toasted almonds. It was creamy and sweet, the perfect way to wrap up our stay!

Overall, we had a great time trying out Lat 14, we enjoyed their take on classic dishes and drinks and would totally recommend it to anyone looking to branch out and try some diverse Asian cuisine.“

“Spice & Rice is one of my favorite food options in Brooklyn Park. I decided to build my own rice bowl on my latest trip. Crispy and juicy fried chicken, white rice, fresh broccoli and bell peppers, and jerk sauce. Absolutely delicious bowl and it paired well with the clypso egg rolls. I’ve had the island beef patty, shrimp bowls, and the reggae shrimp on prior visits (all amazing). Everything is made to order so the quality is top shelf and well worth the wait. Never a bad meal here, plenty of Jamaican and Asian fusion to be excited about!“

“The food is amazing and Heather is the ultimate host. She makes food with love (and a lot of skill and knowledge), and it is all served family-style so you can try everything. We tried all the options - Chicken, pork, vegetarian - and got a kale salad - and it happily stuffed 4 of us and we brought home a lot of wonderful leftovers. Heather is right, they are great for breakfast too!

At the previous location, reservations seemed like a necessity, but at Butter (37th and Nicollet), it didn't seem as crucial as it's a larger space, so go and check it out!!

“I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???

Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!

Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

“I got the garlic soy chicken wings and I thought they were pretty good for fast food! The sauce was tasty and the chicken was really crisp and fresh tasting. They came out quickly and there was a lot of seating, though I was in the mall at 8pm on a weekday. I tried the kimchi and it wasn't my thing, but I don't think that's on account of the quality of it, and more to do with my being picky. It was $10.95 for the meal, not including tax or tip, which is pretty decent in the modern era of fast food pricing.“

“Had an appointment nearby and decided to eat at this Leeann Chin location instead of driving up Route 7 to Knollwood Plaza. Ordered my typical chin dynasty that consists of two (2) 1/2 entrees over fried rice. I got the usual firecracker shrimp and the second option was the sesame chicken. Nothing short of excellent, the store was clean, the food was hot.“

I had the orange chicken, fried rice, lo mein, and some cooked vegetables. Everything was so amazing. It tasted absolutely delicious. Some of the best Asian food I've had. “Szechuan Tofu blew my mind with how good it was. My kids loved the sweet sour chicken, and the shrimp noodle thing. It was all really well made delicious food. The appearance of the restaurant was lacking and the smell, but the food quality made up for it 100%“

“A year ago I had an allergic reaction to shrimp, so I stopped eating shrimp. Today my wife ordered me wings tossed in Oyster sauce. I didn't think much of it. After two wings, I had the same allergy symptoms as I had with shrimp a year ago. I guess I developed a shellfish allergy in my adulthood.

When you walk into the restaurant, you are always greeted with smiling faces, kind and helpful employees. The employees work very hard and it shows at this Leeann Chin. If there was an issue with your food, this staff would go out of their way to fix it and make sure you have the perfect meal.The food is consistently hot, fresh and excellent. “My friend and I went to the west end location for lunch. We got the hurricane and the cherry blossom rolls. They were so delicious. FYI the rolls are big but we should’ve ordered three rolls, two wasn’t enough in my opinion. I think the bill was around $20 each. Kinda a lot for lunch but sushi isn’t cheap.“
