They offer spice levels from 1–5; a 2 is perfect if you like just a little heat without it being overwhelming.“

“Always my go-to Asian food, quality is much better than the stuff you get elsewhere in the skyway. The portion size is decent. The food tastes better, too. The stir fry dishes and curries are my go-to. I usually eat them with white rice. They have great service, quick and efficient, and the rice is usually cooked well.“

“Not the same as Joy’s original but new ownership has updated the space beautifully and it’s immaculately clean. I’m sure our present hard economic times are to blame for the less-than-perfect review that Joy always earned. I was disappointed but not enough to not return. I’m sad it’s no longer the true Joy’s. Food is still very good albeit with many changes, and the menu is uncomfortably non-substitutable. Rigid. A single diner simply cannot order the fried egg rolls because the order provides four, no half orders allowed. In most restaurants, even a full order of two is often offered by the half. Tea is served via a pot or cup; as a single, I ordered just the cup, but it was cold, and I did want a little more (if it had been hot). Servers are minimal but very personable; attentive and well-intentioned. This was difficult for me to write; I have treasured Joy's for many years. I will return but likely sparingly given the changes and new high cost.“

“I got a little lost trying to find this place in the skyway but if you enter from the lasalle apartments on 9th and lasalle, take the elevator up to the skyway it will be the first door on the right! Parking is located in a paid garage or paid street.

The food is delicious! I ordered the Nasi Lemak with Crispy Chicken and got my egg sunny side up. I ordered at the kiosk and waited less than 10 mins.

I loved the spicy sauce it came with and the chicken was super crispy and well seasoned. The limeade was not too sweet and the lobby was clean and spacious! I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a delicious and filling bite.“

The food was exquisite, the vegetable tempura was perfectly prepared, and we both loved our entrees. The server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We both plan on coming back.“

“This is the most authentic Thai place west of the cities. I was an English teacher in Thailand for two years and the spicy green curry tastes just like the one I had in Bangkok. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. Staff is always friendly and professional even when super busy but the food is worth the wait!“

This was by far one of my favorite Thai orders in many years - we had the khao soi curry, red curry fried rice, pad Thai along with a couple apps and were floored with how amazing everything was. “I've never been disappointed at Bagu! We had the split corn-on-the-cob special appetizer with parmesan and a delicious sauce - an amazing way to end the corn season. Drunken noodle (wide noodles option is so good) with shrimp and a spicy tuna roll. Service is always with a smile. One of my favorite places!“

“We stopped by on a Monday evening so not a real busy time so dining room was pretty empty. Had coconut shrimp appetizer which was good but slightly over cooked. Family had a curry dish that was great, shrimp/scallop noodle dish that was also great and drunken shrimp that was so so with way overcooked shrimp. Very good service and a robot that delivers the food. Will have to try a hotter spice level next time as medium is pretty weak.“

Sticking with that menu from now on. Noise level is high. Sometimes I think we should not have so many open concept kitchens.“
