This was my morning fuel stop on my way to a few days of class at North House Folk School. Great energy & friendly staff. I was able to see the regulars come in on Saturday morning. Owner (?), Sarah knew everyone by name and order. Like a coffee version of Cheers. ~Drip with 1 espresso shot ina purple yeti cup!

P.s. buy your wild rice here!

I can’t tell you how much I love this place! Wherever I am in the area I swing in for a croissant breakfast sandwich and an iced mocha ( boyfriend does the hot chocolate) 😋
The staff is always so friendly and helpful. One time I got a sandwich and asked for it to be packaged in 2 halves. They wrapped the second half up tight for me to eat it the next day.
Definitely swing in for a cup of Java and a delicious breakfast sandwich!! 😋

Excellent coffee. We ordered a dark roast and a vanilla latte. The staff was friendly. They had indoor and outdoor seating available.

It's a great stop for coffee when in town. They have really creative options with northwoods vibes on the flavors and utilize alternative milk options for your dairy free friends and family. Coffee options usually are strong. They'll also make you a solid breakfast sandwiches and some roadie sandwiches for the trail. Very friendly staff as well.

The 1 star is the country, might be unfair for java moose, for rating it against them. Anyway, if youre a local there, yeah place is great. Anyway, we used to cross the border and come here as a family — it was part of our annual long-drive tradition. Those trips held so many good memories, but things have changed over time. We’ve started building new traditions, discovering new destinations that offer experiences just as meaningful, if not better. The U.S. simply isn’t what it used to be for us; times have changed, and so have we.

Never been, but saw the care and compassion for Canadians, and that alone gives a 5 from me. If it is ever possible, love to visit one day.
