I miss the Sven and Ole's heydays. It was a vibrant place with the bar on back on the upper deck. Glad to see they are still there.

I sure love the sauce on the pizza. Will be back next time we are up.

Solid small town pizza with a weird business model that I actually prefer.

You order at a counter, pay, then go take a seat in a separate dining area. They give you a buzzer and you go pick up your food when it is done. You then bus your own table and leave when you're done. There are signs all over stating that this business model is because of "staffing shortages" but if I'm being honest I think I prefer restaurants like this. No tipping necessary, no waiting around for your bill, it honestly eliminates the most annoying parts of eating out for me.

The "uff da" pizza (supreme) pizza was really good and even though we ordered thin crust and got pan, the regular pan crust is still relatively thin and I was happy with it.

This isn't cheap pizza at about $30 for a 14", but it was enough to feed 3 people and with this business model (read, no extra server tipping) was easily still the cheapest meal we had on our Grand Marais get away despite also being one of the best. I'd come again if I was ever in the area.

Took almost an hour to get 1 pizza. Seriously. The pizza was good but not worth the wait. Don’t go if you’re hungry.

This has been a must stop and enjoy a good pizza for years! Pizza is always fresh and delicious. Lines get long, but it's worth the wait.

Their pizza reminded me of New York style pizza. The flavor was absolutely spot on. I got the pepperoni. I am definitely going back and getting that again.

I ordered the Hawaiian bbq chicken pizza, they made me a different Hawaiian pizza and told me this is what I ordered. Refused It correct and told me "this isn't pizza hut". So thr pizza I received had items on it we couldn't eat for allergy reasons. The man at the counter didn't care one bit. It was a complete waste of money. Paid for a pizza I didn't receive and didn't get to eat. I will never ever go back there and I would recommend to anyone to avoid this place. It use to be so good. It's gone terribly down hill.

YUM!!! Traditional crust, not crisp but chewy. Sauce, pepperoni and sausage were delicious with generous cheese to boot! Super casual atmosphere. Lots of folks taking it to go. Very busy.

The good: The staff is so nice and the place is a fun and quirky little stop.
The unfortunate: We ordered the Uffda and Buffalo chicken pizza. $64 later and I can tell you this pizza tasted like nothing. Both pizzas lacked flavor. The crust was bland. The sauce was bland. Total bummer. Sadly, wouldn’t recommend.
