My wife and I chose a two-night stay at Naniboujou to celebrate our anniversary. It was preceded by a two-night, 20-mile hike in from the Lindskog Rd trailhead on the Superior Hiking Trail, having left our vehicle at the lodge and hired a shuttle to drop us at the trailhead.
The afternoon after we hiked in, the rain started in earnest. It was quite relaxing to sit in the little balcony under the solarium, listening to the rain on the glass while reading a coffee table...

We had breakfast mid week. It was on my wish list since I was a kid, but I could never make it work.
There was pancakes and bacon, coffee and oranges. I would have eaten saltines and water with no complaints. The dining room is so beautiful. I kniw it is a Cree design, which isnt appropriate for northern minnesota, but it is such a joyful space, and has been so lovingly maintained.

What made our experience truly special, though, was the incredible service. Andrew and Cinthya were so warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. They made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in, and their hospitality...
