Ate here a couple times while in Grand Rapids visiting .. had dinner and breakfast .. food was good, service was good. Prices were reasonable and on par. Restaurant was clean and reminded me of the inside of an old school wooden lodge. Over all a good experience and we would go back. The only issue was finding parking which I suppose is a good problem to have.

Enjoy the Sat night prime rib special each time I'm in town. Comes with excellent wild rice soup and a fresh, hot loaf of bread. Definitely recommend.

This is a local gem of a breakfast restaurant and dinner supper club. The staff was so friendly and on top of your every need. We ate breakfast - YUM! Great menu, delicious food and good portions. The vibe is a lodge feel and convenient to jump off the highway. Try it!

We went by the reviews to pick this restaurant and we did not agree with the many reviews of the food being 5 stars.... Reuben came on a hoagie bun and had a burnt taste to it... Walleye sand was decent enough but came with just simple iceberg lettuce... I asked for tomato to spice it up a bit ... My son got the 8oz serlion and though it had grillmarks he said it didn't taste like it was grilled the whole time to cook it... And his augratin potatoes where just overly cheesey hash browns
Kids chicken pasta was a decent size which was nice but it was chicken strips laid over the pasta and slices of cheese melted on top
The last item we ordered was a mushroom and Swiss burger which was decent enough but nothing to brag about...
We ordered 20oz beers and we feel as though they were more like a 16 oz but they were $6 so we were still okay with it.
Just wanted to share our experience since we went off reviews to pick...
Hope if you go your experience is different!!!!

A great bargain in the Great North Woods. Best atmosphere, and best food around at bargain prices.

The Manicotti Shrimp was very cheese and hot. Loved eating the leftovers of cheese today. The prime rib was delicious along with the baked potato. Our puppy is enjoying the remaining parts of the prime rib for a few days. The waitress purposely looked only at her current individuals, missing that we needed water, another drink and the check. We decided against dessert because we assumed she would take too long to notice we wanted additional attention. We left early to get dessert elsewhere.
