When in Grand Rapids, bring your cooler and pack it full of 'miner hand pies' better known as delicious PASTIES. There's only a handful of places from The UP (of Michigan) over to The Iron Range who not only make and serve delicious Pasties, but have them frozen or freezer ready to go. We stopped at lunch on our way to a family reunion. My wife and I each had a pasty with the rutabaga and they were delicious !! One small table to sit at and the lady working was friendly and very entertaining.

This place is awesome. We bought beef patties and breakfast pasties also. They were both soooo good. I highly recommend this shop. The lady behind the counter was very nice and helpful.
