Rendezvous is a fun brewery to stop in and grab a beer. Pretty awesome in the summer since it’s right on the lake. They also do specialty beer slushies depending on the season as well which is always a fun change of pace.
Right off of the Paul Bunyan Trail, this is THE destination for the elite biker (or someone like me-a sweaty mess after biking). Great cold beers (and other items as well: slushies, Sprecher root beer, kombucha). Our group tried some tasty beers: Scampfire (like a liquid S’more), Twilight & Birch Lake Logger (lighter). Very nice atmosphere here (either indoors or outside under the umbrella).
Decided to have a draft as we waited for the rain to end. We were surprised by the range and quality of brews. We enjoyed Staring Blindly, Big Ivan, Chapter One, and Its a Keeper. Folks behind the bar are as friendly as you can be.
