“We had Big Daddy's last night for the first time in a long while. The roast beef and gravy was delicious - no prcessed meat or potatoes here. The Big Daddy Burger was large with an over abundance of fries and the cheese curds were huge with an amazing spice in the coating. Super yummy even the next day cold. So glad we decided to eat here. Will be back sooner, rather than later.“
“The only thing is that because this place is so affordable and the food is really great unfortunately this place gets insanely busy. Also the place is so very small that on its busiest times of the evening you are elbow to elbow with people. So don't be surprised if you have to wait 15 minutes up to 30 minutes to get your order taken for either food or a beverage which is a bummer.“
“My husband and I met at Shortys in 2020 and were devastated when they closed shortly after. We use to say we’d never get to go back to the place we met. But when Bucktails moved into the building we couldn’t be happier. My husband is a huge fan of American food, and I could eat Mexican food everyday, all day. Having both on their menu, we found our new favorite spot. When we got married, we knew we wanted to celebrate where we met, and Bucktails was more than happy to make that possible. We had a party of roughly 50 people who were ALL impressed by the food and service. Staff was amazing to work with and were so great the entire night. When food ran out, they were quick to throw more in the oven for us and bring it out. They had had pool, darts, and karaoke. Everyone had such an amazing time. I can’t recommend this place enough!! Thank you Dee and everyone at Bucktails. We will never forget our incredible wedding celebration with you!!“

“It's a cute, quick spot to get delicious blizzards, cones, or anything else dairy-adjacent you could enjoy. The hours are pretty reasonable as the seasons go, even though they're usually closed in the late fall/wintertime. Tended by kind staff too! If you go here in the fall, try the pumpkin pie blizzard without the pie crust (not that this location's pie crust is bad, but you'll enjoy the ice cream more without it)!“

The fried pickles on the side are reason enough to eat here, but add on a vanilla malt for good measure. The fact my family of three can get a quick, delicious lunch here for under $50 is nearly a miracle, especially when factoring in the quality and flavor of what’s provided.Fast, pleasant, and attentive service, clean dining area, hometown vibes, and in a less touristed area of town makes this spot worth visiting on repeat.“
“The food here was amazing. It came quick. My friends kid had an accident and threw up on the table. Our server, Wyatt, was very kind and understanding. He brought a mop and rags, cleaned, sanatized. “Every time we come to Duluth we stop here. It’s one of our favorites! Whoever decorated this restaurant did an outstanding job and I wish they could come decorate my house. The service is outstanding every time. The food is consistent and delicious. You can tell the food is homemade and not just frozen. The Reuben and chicken fingers are our favorites but the French onion soup, cheese curds, and salads are great too! Give Lyric some love and try them out!“
“What can I say, I love this place! Food is always top notch, servers and bartenders are really friendly and they have beer taps for miles! I've enjoyed many items off their menu and have never been disappointed! Here's what I've hade: Cheese curds, Loaded tots, jalapeño bacon poppers, sweet potato fries, Avocado chicken tacos, Blackened fish tacos, One eyed jack burger, West OMG burger and Taphouse burger. I will say the menu prices are a bit spendy compared to other fast food establishments, but that's more of an issue at a corporate level. “We were there on Saturday 12/16. We had a young gentleman waiting on us (should’ve gotten his name) but we were sitting in a booth near the door (I just want him recognized). It was a Viking’s game day and he was running around and obviously busy.we came in shortly after half time. He maintained a positive and professional attitude! He even chatted with us a bit about the game, and overall the service was phenomenal. He was working so hard! “I love hole in the wall places like this!There's some water damage to the ceiling and the outside looks a little sketch but I think that's part of the atmosphere for me.Our waitress was phenomenal. We were pleased with the late night availability ... the service was great, very relaxing Also had a great breakfast this morning with excellent service. Thanks to all, and to the Radisson for a great venue! This is a great little place, right in the Raddison .... and you can eat outdoors, too. They have a very experienced staff.“

“Went to the new Grand View the other night for dinner. There were six of us eating, we ordered six different dinners, from BLT, hamburger, walleye, hot turkey, meatloaf, dinners. All of them were excellent, with generous portions, I highly recommend. Very good experience, and our waitress was awesome also!“
