Nice place to be.

It's not like this review matters, because the place is closed. They replaced it with a better restaurant.

I have been there several times for breakfast, but i had dinner the other night and it was fantastic ! I had the chicken fettuccine and garlic toast. The best i have ever had. Then i had babana cream pie.... they make individual ies instead of just a slice! Dang it was soooo good!

One of the worst restaurants for service, the are either incompetent or lack the knowledge to run a restaraunt efficiently. There are always tables open but yet it takes 30 minutes to get one. You need better cooks, better waitstaff and better management. And most ridiculous thing is you new restaurant in back is just as bad. Figure it out, because your service seriously sucks!

I went here yesterday and there was a wait. Took a while to order drinks. We were forgotten. They were short staffed. We received our meals before our drinks. If you order for someone else make sure you let them know there are two people and your not sharing.

This is a spendy restaurant with really good food. There can be a bit of a wait if you go during high meal times, but to be fair that's because it is one of only a few restaurants in town, and it is attached to the casino. Not the fault of slow service. I'm not sure where they get their cuts of meat, theu dont seem to be the best. But that's my only complaint. The rest of the food is absolutely delicious. You MUST try the wild rice soup! Many of their sandwiches are served on a wild rice bread, which is really good as well. Large portions and tasty meals justify the price.

If you are staying at the Grand Casino Hinckley as I was, this is pretty much your option for breakfast. (I guess there's the buffet too) Someone else described it as being like Denny's, and that's fairly accurate. The menu is straightforward breakfast stuff - eggs, pancakes, an over reliance on Jimmy Dean sausage patties. There are a few healthy things on the menu but come on - you're at the smokiest casino in MN, live a little! Prices are reasonable with pretty much everything in the $6-7/range. They seem to run super specials if you are in the players club, like a giant American breakfast for $1.99. (Side rant - an old couple next to me got this deal, split it and used casino comps to pay the remaining $2. They congratulated each other on their "free" breakfast and left without tipping. Hey fuckwits - tip your server, they still have to do the work!!!!) Anyway, the food is simple but they cooked my eggs correctly both days, and for that I thank them. Service was pleasant for me as well. GGA certainly gets the job done for a no-frills breakfast.
