“I've been meaning to write this review for years.My wife and I stopped here during high COVID. The lockdowns had passed, but masking was still encouraged. We were coming back from the Range and hit Hinckley looking for something local, but most every place was still closed. So we wandered a little further off the freeways and found Bear Creek Tavern.Nobody goes into a tavern expecting haute cuisine nor Michelin stars. Honestly, we'd have settled for a decent burger. Instead, we lucked into Mexican Night. My wife ordered enchiladas, and I ordered taco salad. Portions were well sized, prices were decent, quality was good, and service was friendly. I mean, really, what more do you want from road food on Friday night on a trip?If we're ever back in that neck of the woods, we'll look them up. If you're in that neck of the woods, you should look them up, too. You won't be wasting your time.“

“What a gem of a place in east-central Minnesota. So different from all of "typical" bars around. The owners are so kind and welcoming. The food is a nice change from fried bar food. Most importantly...the craft beer selection is on point.Shoutout to the band tonight too. Tres Osos, y'all were awesome.“
